What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that challenges my engineering skills and fosters professional growth.

I am an aspiring electrical engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, set to graduate in December 2024. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on laboratory experiences, where I have honed my skills in both software and hardware engineering. I take pride in my ability to engineer innovative solutions, such as developing a functional prototype of a smart submersible marine vehicle that significantly enhanced maneuverability through advanced motor control algorithms.

During my internship at Northrop Grumman, I successfully launched a comprehensive onboarding tracker for interns, which streamlined data collection and reporting processes. This initiative not only improved operational efficiency but also resulted in complete user adoption within the division. My previous experience as a Critical Power Engineer Intern at M.C. Dean further solidified my technical expertise, where I created detailed electrical drawings and contributed to critical power bid submissions that increased our bid completion rate by 50%. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a challenging engineering role that fosters innovation and growth.

Synchronous Generator Project

University of Maryland, College Park

Apr 2024 - Apr 2024 (0 months)

Conducted open-circuit and short-circuit tests on a 1.5 kVA synchronous generator, analyzing performance across 0-0.9A DC field currents using measurement tools (wattmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscope) to determine operational parameters. Developed and validated the synchronous generator equivalent circuit model, comparing calculated and measured load voltages and currents, achieving a close fit bet

NS

Associate Systems Engineer Intern

Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems

Jun 2023 - Aug 2023 (2 months)

Launched a comprehensive onboarding tracker for AMS E&S Interns and Pathways employees, streamlining data collection and reporting processes through automated data pipelines. Presented informative weekly status reports with stakeholders to provide detailed explanations of the functionalities and implementations of the Interns and Pathways tracker, resulting in complete user adoption for the AMS di

UP

Independent Projects

University of Maryland, College Park

Jan 2023 - May 2023 (4 months)

Implemented multi-bit adders, three 4-bit combinational multiplier architectures (standard, array, booth), and a vending machine controller using Xilinx Vivado, ensuring correct output on a 7-segment display FPGA board. Utilized PSpice for pre-implementation assessment and analysis through circuit schematics, Verilog modules, and simulation tests to streamline project execution.

M(

Critical Power Engineer Intern

M.C. Dean (HQ)

Jun 2022 - Aug 2022 (2 months)

Created 11 electrical single-line drawings and 13 floor-plan drawings in AutoCAD and Revit across 9 government air force base buildings for demolition and new installation of proposed UPS power systems. Composed 4 critical power bid submittals with 13 technical reports consisting of equipment selection, calculations, and scheduling to increase overall bid completion rate by 50%.
