What I'm looking for

I want to build secure, scalable .NET backend systems in fintech and payments—owning microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployments—while mentoring teams. I’m excited to leverage AI/LLM-assisted development to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems using C# and ASP.NET Core in fintech, digital banking, and payments. I build cloud-native, event-driven architectures that help teams ship reliably—especially when migrating from monoliths to microservices.

In my recent role, I led an 8-engineer backend team on the SuperApp platform, migrating from a modular monolith to event-driven microservices and improving deployment velocity by 75%. I also modernized deployments from Azure App Services to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), designed RESTful APIs and gRPC services backed by Entity Framework Core, and helped scale the platform to serve 10M+ customers.

I’ve delivered mission-critical payment and compliance features, including integrating payment gateways processing billions of naira and implementing NFC-based passport chip verification with automated AML compliance screening. I strengthen security end-to-end as well—hardening JWT/OAuth token renewal logic, migrating cryptography to AES-GCM, removing hardcoded cryptographic keys, and coordinating vulnerability remediation from penetration testing findings.

I’m equally focused on engineering velocity and quality: I integrate AI/LLM-assisted workflows for automated unit test generation and faster bug resolution, and I mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance. I also publish .NET packages (NuGet) like an AWS S3 library and password hashing library to share reusable backend capabilities.
