At Finmatics, I design and operate multi-environment GCP GKE and Hetzner microservice clusters, delivering platform changes end-to-end through ArgoCD, Helm, infrastructure as code, and automation. I've architected migration from Hetzner and Azure to GCP, established AlloyDB and GCS backup paths, and implemented Workload Identity for backup workloads.
I improve reliability through VPA, KEDA/HPA autoscaling, PodDisruptionBudgets, hardened memory limits, Prometheus/Grafana dashboards, and Slack/Squadcast alerting. I also secure production services with Cloud Armor, external-secrets, IAM improvements, TLS operations, and vulnerability remediation without affecting availability.
Before Finmatics, I spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley supporting global Unix and enterprise storage infrastructure, leading a multidisciplinary technical team, and building Linux provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and backup automation. I'm an Arch Linux user, nvim fanatic, homelab enthusiast, mechanical keyboard builder, and cyclist.
