Commercial lead at Oxford University Hospitals, building the TVS Secure Data Environment’s commercial model and connecting NHS data research to clinical care.
What I'm looking for
At Oxford University Hospitals, I lead Commercial, Data and Innovation and serve as Commercial Lead for the Thames Valley & Surrey Secure Data Environment. My team and I built its commercial and finance function from scratch, including the processes and systems supporting data access.
I work on the SDE’s commercial model, pricing and data access agreements, while contributing across its technical, data and governance workstreams. I also work with clinical and research teams to move technologies developed using TVS data through validation, pilot studies and evidence-building towards NHS procurement and adoption.
Before OUH, I spent nearly nine years at Oxford University Innovation, latterly as Deputy Head of Licensing and Ventures for digital health, where my team and I created over 30 companies. I trained as a biochemist and was a Senior Research Fellow at Reading, where I helped set up and run the BioCentre.
