Served as Human Tissue Authority lead, governing ethics and tissues for research, training staff and students, and managing quality assurance. Oversaw -80°C freezers and sample inventories, created and chaired the research governance group, and managed IRAS applications for a biobank.

Volunteered in Professor Karl Morten's research group, presenting research, conducting systematic reviews, and collaborating on Raman microscopy and Lyme disease diagnostic testing.

Processed and booked clinical patient samples in Clinical Biochemistry and Haematology, including sorting, requesting through hospital systems, and preparing samples for analysis.

Worked in the Covid testing unit under the NHS bank, providing patient care, PCR testing, swabbing, and managing bookings and specimen checks.

Conducted virology research and vaccine project work, including virus harvesting, protein purification, western blots, PCR, and cell line production.

Assisted in research on the effects of obesity/western diet on bile acids, processing mouse tissue samples and conducting histological analysis.

First class with Honours Bachelor's degree in Medical Science, including modules in biochemistry, physiology, cellular pathology, genetics, molecular biology, immunology, haematology, and clinical pharmacology.
