Frédérick Baron
@frederickbaron
Award-winning professional songwriter, lyricist, and grant-writing consultant with extensive teaching and industry experience.
What I'm looking for
I am an award-winning professional songwriter and lyricist with a long career collaborating on over 90 albums with national and international artists, and co-authoring musical theatre productions.
I also work as a consultant and professional grant writer, producing content, project timelines, and budgets for arts funding bodies such as the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Canada Council for the Arts.
As an educator and facilitator, I have taught songwriting techniques at Cégep de Granby, led masterclasses and workshops across Canada, and served as a jury member for music competitions and funding organizations.
My background includes roles in music publishing, copywriting, press relations, and ongoing professional training in music publishing and TV scriptwriting, grounded in formal studies in arts, psychology, and literature.
As a professionally recognized lyricist for over 20 years, but also as a singer-songwriter, I am passionate about the French language and everything related to the art of voice.
I am often told that my speaking voice is radio-friendly, which is why I would now like to try new experiences with my voice, such as podcasts, vocal overdubbing, or AI training.
I own a professional-quality microphone (HYPERX QUADCAST) as well as professional headphones (Audio-Technica - ATH-M40x).
I would be delighted to contribute to the development of your business.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
