What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior, remote-ready role where I can own data governance and architecture, deliver lakehouse/ETL performance frameworks, and build compliant, cost-efficient operating models. I thrive with cross-functional, distributed teams and clear asynchronous execution.

I’m a remote-ready Senior Data Governance and Data Architect, Data Engineer, and Web-Application Programmer who works independently while leading and communicating effectively across virtual teams. I build alignment with distributed stakeholders using clear asynchronous communication, translating complex governance goals into compliant, cost-efficient execution. My focus is institutionalizing systems that reduce operational dependency and improve consistency at scale.

In enterprise settings, I’ve built governance and operating frameworks that standardized execution across 300+ franchises, unified IT/BI/business under a single data-driven operating model, and implemented Lakehouse architecture for centralized reporting and performance visibility. I also design access control, monitoring, and audit systems to improve compliance and decision reliability—applying healthcare governance with ETL/reporting pipelines and secure real-time/batch data sharing. I’m especially driven by performance frameworks, data quality/ownership standards, and compliance aligned to POPIA/HIPAA.
