I’m an Electrical Engineer and researcher with a Doctor of Engineering focus on the integration of high penetration rooftop solar PV into distribution networks. My doctoral work developed and validated control schemes that go beyond grid stability—making curtailment decisions technically sound and equitable across all network participants.

I specialize in fairness-aware PV curtailment control, spectral clustering for feeder zone identification, and multi-objective optimization for grid management. I bring a strong modeling-and-simulation mindset, using Python, MATLAB, and MATPOWER, and I also support microgrid experimentation to test control ideas in realistic settings.

As a Graduate Engineer and Tutorial Fellow (August 2020–Present), I’ve been combining research rigor with mentorship—helping translate advanced data techniques into practical, defensible outcomes for power systems challenges.

Before my research focus, I gained hands-on engineering exposure through roles such as signals technical assistant at China Road and Bridge Corporation and telecom/RAN training at Huawei, plus field attachment experience across electrical installation, distribution operations & maintenance, and procurement/customer service. I’m motivated by work that improves reliability, fairness, and performance in modern grids.
