Electrical and electronics graduate focused on power engineering, grid modernization, and sustainable renewable energy solutions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a highly motivated and results-driven graduate of electrical and electronics engineering from Kenyatta University, bringing a solid foundation in fundamental electrical principles, circuit design, and system analysis. I’m eager to turn academic excellence into real-world impact in power infrastructure.
My core technical interest is power engineering—specifically the integration and optimization of modern grid technologies and power distribution systems. I’m also committed to sustainable energy, with knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind power generation, and energy storage solutions.
Through academic projects, I gained practical experience in modeling power flow, designing protection systems, and evaluating the technical viability of off-grid and grid-tied renewable energy installations. I’m proficient in industry-relevant simulation software and dedicated to continuous learning to stay ahead of rapid advancements in grid modernization.
During my Kenya Electricity Generating Company (Geothermal) and (Hydros) attachments, I supported operations and maintenance across key assets, including transformers, switch gears, generators, and battery systems and chargers. I also worked on preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, protection relay maintenance and testing, circuit breaker work, and on-load tap changer servicing.
