What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine research and data-driven storytelling with clear communication—supporting programmes or producing policy-ready outputs—while collaborating with multicultural teams and external stakeholders.

I’m a Teaching and Programme Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, designing and delivering workshops and supporting the planning and monitoring of student group projects with external professional partners. I enjoy turning complex topics into practical learning experiences and keeping projects on track from day one to delivery.

Previously, I worked as a Research & Communications Assistant at the Clingendael Institute, coordinating qualitative and quantitative research (R, Python, Excel, SPSS, Qualtrics, PowerBI, Github) for the Conflict Research Unit. I also drafted and edited articles, reports, policy briefs, and presentations, while producing a weekly newsletter and managing content across tools like WordPress and Mailchimp.

My background also includes roles as a Data Journalist at de Volkskrant—pitching, writing, editing, and collaborating on data-driven projects. I build rigorous work through data wrangling, cleaning, analysis, and visualization (e.g., R, Python, Excel, Datawrapper) and through careful qualitative research design (including surveys with Qualtrics).

I’ve strengthened my research toolkit through my MSc in Political Science and international training in peacebuilding and OSINT, including work with social media and mapping tools like QGIS. I’m motivated by roles where research, communication, and stakeholder collaboration come together to produce credible outputs that can inform decisions.
