Fernando Subtil

I’m a QA Engineer & Functional Analyst managing QA across multiple simultaneous projects in a consumer and corporate credit banking environment, covering back-office operational tools, client-facing applications, and partner-facing platforms. I own the full testing lifecycle—from defining test plans and cases, to running functional and regression tests, tracking defects, and producing test status and KPI reports for stakeholders.

I’ve served as QA lead on a large-scale Salesforce transformation project modernising core banking workflows, digitising credit application processing and centralising operational task management across teams. I also introduced and led test automation at the organisation, building Selenium regression suites with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber—significantly reducing manual regression testing time.

Previously at CGI, I supported RMS, a globally deployed platform for monitoring, analysis, and management of renewable energy assets across wind, solar, and hydro operations. I contributed to functional analysis and worked with SQL-based data validation, built and maintained data processing pipelines in Azure Machine Learning, and communicated directly with international clients in English to clarify technical requirements and support delivery.
