Fernando Plou Llorente
@fernandoploullorente
Python developer and machine learning researcher at the University of Oviedo’s QHPC Group who developed LazyQML and pLazyQML.
What I'm looking for
At the University of Oviedo’s QHPC Group, I designed and developed LazyQML, a Python library for simulating and benchmarking quantum machine learning models. It was published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
I built pLazyQML, a parallel package for executing quantum machine learning models on classical computers, published in the Journal of Supercomputing. I also researched and implemented machine learning and quantum machine learning models for classification and data analysis.
My work included distributed computing in Python, working-level CUDA, and tensor-network methods for quantum circuit simulation in HPC environments. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modeling and Research in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, and I want to apply my Python and machine learning foundation to AI-based solutions, backend services, and data workflows on a real product while learning through code reviews with senior engineers.
