Femi Aroro

I’m a Telecommunications and Network Support Specialist and IT Project Manager with over 15 years supporting wired and wireless communication systems, WAN infrastructure, VoIP/PBX systems, microwave radio systems, SCADA communications, and enterprise IT deployments. I specialize in troubleshooting network hardware and delivering telecom infrastructure that stays reliable under operational pressure.

Since Jun 2016, I’ve managed IT infrastructure projects including hardware and software deployment, and I’ve overseen implementation and commissioning of call center infrastructure. I manage WIMAX network deployment and support projects, and I supervise wired and wireless IP camera installations for Safe City initiatives. I also track project timelines, budgets, and operational deliverables to keep deployments on course.

Before that, as a Senior IT Maintenance Technician at Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), I installed, monitored, and configured communication systems and replacement components. I configured routers and radio communication equipment supporting WAN and SCADA infrastructure, performed troubleshooting and maintenance for mission-critical network systems, and mentored junior technicians on maintenance and repair procedures.

Earlier, at the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), I diagnosed and resolved IT infrastructure and networking issues, supported infrastructure planning and deployment projects, and maintained and troubleshot network hardware. I monitored and configured VoIP systems, PBX equipment, and IP phones, and provided technical support for analog and digital communication systems, and I began my path with Huawei Technologies Nigeria as a Technical Intern supporting telecom network equipment monitoring and maintenance.
