I’m a multidisciplinary engineer with a background in Physics Engineering and automation, earned through a double degree between France and Colombia. I advanced my specialization with Master’s degrees in Video Game Programming and Artificial Intelligence, and I bring hands-on experience in object-oriented programming, automated testing, and machine learning.
I focus on writing optimized, clean, and well-architected code that maximizes readability, performance, and maintainability. I specialize in gameplay systems, AI behavior, and tools development, using Unreal Engine technologies such as the Gameplay Ability System (GAS), Environment Query System (EQS), and physics-thread logic to deliver robust and reliable gameplay experiences.
As a lead programmer, I’ve collaborated with international teams across multiple countries to develop VR, networked multiplayer, and single-player video games. I’ve designed and implemented gameplay features with GAS for a networked JRPG multiplayer game, created AI behaviors with EQS and state machines, and built designer workflow tools to streamline configuration directly in UE5.
I also deliver strong engineering outcomes end-to-end—developing physics-thread–based simulations and a damage system driven by player kinetic energy, fixing gameplay/visual/AI bugs, and implementing dynamic VR behaviors and tools for hardware-to-UE5 communication. With SCRUM-based project management skills, I align my work with best practices, timelines, and client expectations.
