Fatoumata Traore
@fatoumatatraore
I build economic development programs, partnerships, and investment opportunities across sectors.
What I'm looking for
At the City of Renton, I design and implement economic-development programs from stakeholder discovery through delivery. I created Renton Youth Works, a five-week pilot connecting six students with six employers, and built engagement formats that reached more than 90 businesses across six districts.
I turn market, policy, and operational research into practical programs, partnerships, and decision-ready recommendations. My work includes commercial-space processes, business disaster-readiness outreach, business retention, and connections to workforce, capital, and technical-assistance resources.
Previously, at the Embassy of Mali, I mobilized $260 million for private-sector projects and facilitated more than 10 partnerships between Malian and U.S. companies. I also bring financial-services leadership experience managing branch operations, teams, lending documentation, compliance, and $20 million in loan funding.
