What I'm looking for

I’m looking to deepen my work in SRE and platform engineering, building reliable PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, and Google Cloud services while improving automation, observability, recovery readiness, and operational resilience.

At Barclays GTIS, I lead L3 reliability engineering for mission-critical Teradata estates, restoring incidents, improving recovery readiness, and governing capacity, backups, upgrades, and controlled production change.

I expanded full-system backup coverage from roughly 65% of 130 TB to 100% of roughly 200 TB, consolidated about 192 jobs to 26, and reduced backup runtime from about 36 hours to 12–13 hours. I’ve also reclaimed approximately 10 TB of production capacity and helped reduce a proposed Data Domain engagement from about £80k to about £12k through technical challenge and vendor collaboration.

I’m building deeper platform engineering capability across PostgreSQL DBaaS, AlloyDB, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Kafka, Python automation, observability, and AWS and Google Cloud services.
