Led cloud migrations and adopted GitOps (Flux/Argo CD) to cut CI/CD deployment timelines by 60%, and delivered blue-green Kubernetes upgrades that reduced production downtime from 10 hours to 10 minutes.

Designed, implemented, and managed Azure infrastructure for enterprise workloads and maintained Kubernetes dev, staging, and production clusters. Increased business productivity by 30% by automating Kubernetes deployments with Argo CD and improving CI/CD with Jenkins and GitLab CI, while supporting PCI-DSS security requirements for ECS workloads.

Created and maintained enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure on EKS using eksctl, managing ~20,000 pods and implementing network policies and Istio service mesh components. Maintained the performance of billing, CRM, and ETL systems so they stayed optimal during deployments and soak/load testing. Designed a CRM data archival solution using scripts with SQL and bespoke Perl APIs.

Performed performance tuning for John Lewis PLC payroll (retro pay), resolving a major issue affecting the payroll system. Conducted benchmarking, load/stress testing, and regression testing across multiple load profiles and liaised with external customers.

Supported BAU and development Oracle environments for Lloyds Bank on Linux, including migrations of a legacy banking system to the latest platform with Oracle 11gR2 and ASM. Installed and configured Oracle Cloud Control 12c with a WebLogic Cluster for monitoring up to 40 Oracle environments and automated RMAN backup/restore with Korn shell scripting.
