What I'm looking for

I am seeking a collaborative, engineering-driven team focused on scalable cloud infrastructure, automation-first practices, strong observability, and opportunities to reduce toil and improve reliability.

I am a Site Reliability Engineer with over five years of experience building, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and distributed systems. I specialize in Kubernetes, multi-cloud networking, and infrastructure-as-code to deliver reliable production services.

At ecobee I led initiatives to improve system reliability, including resolving Nginx ungraceful shutdowns on GKE, migrating CI runners to GitHub runner scale sets, and contributing Golang and Python code for internal tooling.

I helped construct SRE-managed Kubernetes clusters on EKS, connected GCP and AWS VPCs via VPN, and established DNS forwarding between Route53 Resolver and CloudDNS. I also developed Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards to drive incident response improvements.

I prioritize automation-first workflows, security best practices (including Vault secret management), and measurable SLO-driven operations. I enjoy collaborating across teams to reduce toil, improve observability, and scale cloud platforms safely and efficiently.
