Led content development for the UNICEF/WHO Helping Adolescents Thrive package, provided technical support on digital mental health interventions across 12 countries, and mobilized resources for the Global Coalition for Youth Mental Wellbeing.

Developed an electronic assessment tool for education authorities to measure mental health outcomes, convened a technical advisory group, authored advocacy briefs on school-closure impacts, and led regional workshops on integrating MHPSS in education.

Authored a neuroscience-informed paper on adolescent trauma, developed trauma-informed policy guidance, and supported capacity-strengthening and training approaches across health, welfare, education and justice sectors.

Conducted a scoping review on integrating MHPSS into sexual and reproductive health programming, led key informant interviews and stakeholder workshops, and produced recommendations and an article draft for publication.

Managed a mental health and rights grantmaking portfolio, supported movement building for people with lived experience across regions, and engaged major funders to shift investments toward rights-based, community-focused mental health supports.

Researched and drafted a report for the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to mental health of people on the move, conducting desk research, key informant interviews, site visits and stakeholder consultations in multiple countries.

Conducted a scoping study of community-based mental health financing in East and West Africa, analyzed donor funding datasets (OECD, IHME) and led key informant interviews with diverse stakeholders.

Managed research on psychosocial and intellectual disabilities and refugee/ migrant health, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses using NVivo, Atlas.ti and STATA to inform publications and stakeholder engagements.

Managed the Equality research unit and budget, led multi-topic research projects and the Annual Equality Report, and coordinated national policy inputs and advocacy on discrimination, disability and gender-based violence.
