What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities to lead public health, social protection, mental health, and psychosocial programmes, using project management, research, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based programme design to improve outcomes for vulnerable communities.

I'm currently a Senior Projects Officer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, providing operational, financial, and project management support for the Decentralised Clinical Program. I coordinate resources, monitor project plans and budgets, prepare reports, and support strategic engagement with the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Health.

Previously, I spent over five years with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, advancing social protection, psychosocial support, child protection, and adolescent and youth programming. I managed PEPFAR-related activities, funding proposals, high-level meetings, policy implementation, stakeholder coordination, and programmatic data analysis to strengthen project design and performance.

My foundation is in social work, HIV and AIDS management, mental health, and qualitative research. I'm completing a PhD in Social Work focused on resilience and mental health among older women in rural South Africa during COVID-19, following research on postpartum depression among women living with HIV.
