Faiz User

I’m a final-year Biology student at Universitas Brawijaya with a growing focus on remote sensing, geospatial data analysis, and applied machine learning. I build machine-learning pipelines in Google Earth Engine and use satellite imagery to extract vegetation and environmental insights that connect directly to ecological questions.

In my experience, I’ve supported hands-on learning and evaluation—mentoring 40+ students in an ecology practicum and 50+ students in biocomputing. I also translate real-world conservation needs into analysis, including evaluating forest security across 180,000+ hectares against AMDAL standards and analyzing vegetation health across 10+ forest compartments.

I bring a strong people-development mindset from faculty-level organizational roles, where I led teams and delivered KPIs at high scale. I’m currently exploring data analytics and aiming to bridge ecological domain knowledge with data-driven problem solving through rigorous, production-minded geospatial analytics.
