What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply GIS and geospatial tools to support marine conservation and coastal planning—combining field sampling, environmental monitoring, and clear technical reporting in a collaborative, research-driven environment.

I’m an oceanography student focused on marine conservation, coastal management, and geospatial analysis. I bring hands-on experience with mangrove mapping, in-situ oceanographic sampling, and environmental monitoring, supported by strong technical and research habits.

Through my internship at BMKG, I conducted real-time earthquake monitoring, verified and managed seismic data, and produced detailed seismic event reports for disaster mitigation. I learned how to work carefully with data integrity and high-impact documentation.

As a student exchange participant at KMOU, I broadened my knowledge of offshore systems and marine engineering while strengthening my ability to adapt and collaborate across cultures. I carry that same collaborative mindset into my research assistant roles, where I manage logistics, budgets, and field-to-GIS workflows.

In multiple projects, I used Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, and QGIS to process satellite imagery, perform land cover classification, and generate thematic geospatial maps. I also conduct mangrove ground-truthing through field verification and species identification—so my outputs are grounded in real ecosystem conditions.
