Co-lead nonprofit mentorship and workshop programme focused on helping young people, particularly young women, build digital, JavaScript and AI-tool skills. Build and maintain n8n-based automation for the organisation’s content pipeline, supporting resource discovery, processing, content preparation and posting.

Contribute to the AI4Weather initiative, applying machine learning to weather forecasting and climate-intelligence problems relevant to African contexts. Collaborate remotely with an interdisciplinary research team on scientific machine learning approaches for resource-constrained environments.

Implemented Hodgkin–Huxley and Leaky Integrate-and-Fire neuron models in Brian2 for neuroscience education and experimentation. Built an interactive simulation and visualisation interface for exploring neural dynamics.

Coordinate projects and day-to-day delivery across a multidisciplinary team, tracking priorities, deadlines, tasks and stakeholder requirements. Contributed to the development of a software product and occasionally implement UI changes and improvements.

Proposed a GAN-based framework to generate synthetic EEG data, addressing scarcity of labelled clean/artefact signal pairs for training. Designed and trained deep learning models to jointly remove ocular (EOG) and muscular (EMG) artefacts from EEG signals in a single pass.

Mentored students on technology and innovation and represented the team in showcasing ControlHub, engaging students around the product and its practical applications.

Selected as part of the Tech & Innovation leadership team for the second edition of the Women in STEM event. Formed and coordinated the participating team after the previous year’s last-place result, leading the team to 3rd place among approximately eight participating schools.

Supported programme leadership delivering practical AI skills to students. Coordinated several project teams working on problems specific to African contexts.

Supported practical technology and AI initiatives and developed experience with Scrum and agile project practices. Learned IoT concepts and hands-on prototyping using Raspberry Pi.

Contributed to a wearable hip-protection system for fall prevention; team received the Most Innovative Team Award.

Developed and benchmarked an XGBoost classifier for breast-tumour classification using Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology data. Compared model families and applied explainable ML techniques to support clinical interpretability; presented findings at the University of Ghana First Annual Engineering Conference.

Chaired committee meetings and coordinated members across engineering-school technology activities. Compiled and maintained a shared library of technical learning materials and made resources accessible to students.

Completed the AI Summer School, covering LLMs, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and foundation models.
