What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply data analytics and machine learning to real-world problems, especially in public health, mental health, and community development, while contributing actionable insights and growing through impactful research and product work.

I build machine learning models and data analyses that support decisions in public health, mental health, and community development. My work combines Python, SQL, exploratory analysis, and clear data storytelling.

At the University of Ghana Medical School, I analyzed structured animal-behavior datasets, developed predictive models from observational and biological data, and contributed to research manuscripts for publication. I am a co-author of published research in the Journal of Basic and Applied Zoology and Health Sciences Investigations Journal.

For a Student Depression Predictor, I built an end-to-end pipeline on 27,000+ records, engineered features, and trained XGBoost and Random Forest classifiers to 83% accuracy. The findings identified academic pressure and financial stress as leading predictors and informed youth mental health programming at Grow with Grit.

I also built and deployed a Streamlit model for bank term-deposit subscription prediction, using EDA, SMOTE, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest. As Co-Founder and Programs Lead at Grow with Grit, I lead youth mental-health education across 10+ schools in Greater Accra and have organized 5+ awareness webinars.
