Ethan Hall
@ethanhall
Aspiring computer scientist with a focus on cybersecurity and AI.
What I'm looking for
I am a computer science major at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, graduating in December 2025. My academic journey has been marked by a strong commitment to excellence, as evidenced by my inclusion on the President’s List. I have developed a solid foundation in software engineering and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in network security configuration, firewall setup, and OS hardening. My passion lies in leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance cybersecurity measures, and I am eager to apply my skills in a professional setting.
During my research experience with the DataMine of the Rockies project in collaboration with Purdue and Lockheed Martin, I explored generative adversarial networks (GANs) to detect network anomalies and threats. This project not only honed my technical skills but also allowed me to collaborate with fellow researchers and present our findings to industry leaders. Additionally, I have worked on an innovation project with XSITE LLC, where I contributed to the development of a prototype for a dependency and risk report, further solidifying my software engineering capabilities.
