Harshith Jayadeva

I am a computer science student concentrating in Data Science & Machine Learning with strong practical experience building full‑stack applications and ML models. I maintain a 3.87 GPA at the Colorado School of Mines and actively apply classroom knowledge to real projects and internships.

As a software engineering intern, I built React frontends, implemented Express REST APIs, and designed Supabase table structures to manage roles and permissions, improving frontend performance and secure data flows. I also automated workflows with n8n and integrated Amazon S3 Cold Storage for receipts and audit logs.

In data work, I trained XGBoost, Random Forest models, and achieved a 98.95% classifier accuracy on a Gamma vs Hadron ray project by optimizing 200+ hyperparameter combinations. I have experience cleaning and visualizing scientific data and improving model accuracy by 11% through preprocessing and tuning.

I complement technical skills with practical scripting and web design: I automated removal and renaming of 10,000 corrupt log files with Bash and built an HTML/CSS/JS website backed by SQL that earned 2nd place in a state design competition. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and 3D printing.
