I’m a “Cable and fibre network technician” based in Albania, currently working with DBA GROUP in Tirane on optical fiber network design. I analyze preliminary inputs, prepare layouts, and build optical fiber network plans using QGis and PNI.
My work includes creating schematic views in AutoCAD and producing the documentation required for design and permitting. I also handle information analysis and plans preparation to support work permit processes with relevant entities, ensuring technical reports are complete and accurate.
Previously, as an “As-Built Designer Metrical Engineering” I supported site feasibility studies from customer inputs and updated AutoCAD/tower post configurations. I verified existing and proposed configurations, updated DX/DY values, checked antenna port/frequency/carrier details, and planned antenna orientation to optimize traffic balance under footprint comparisons.
