I’m looking for a team where I can build secure, high-performance backend services in Java microservices, collaborate closely with DevOps and product, and keep improving through code reviews, testing, and continuous learning of new technologies.

I’m a dedicated, self-motivated software developer who enjoys research-driven development, and I build software from conception to production with teams from diverse backgrounds. I love learning and adapt quickly to new technologies, and I’m known for delivering seamless user experiences through efficient code.

As a Senior Backend Developer (Hybrid) at Interswitch Group, I lead the design and development of high-performance backend systems powering digital payment services across Africa. I architect scalable APIs and microservices for real-time financial transactions with a strong focus on high availability, security, and data consistency—driving secure authentication/authorization and PCI-DSS compliance while partnering with DevOps on CI/CD and containerized deployments.

Before that, I built and maintained logistics and lending applications, using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA for scalable services and optimized performance under heavy traffic. I also collaborated on full-stack features—designing admin interfaces with Next.js/React, integrating RESTful APIs, adding JWT-based authentication, and improving reliability with unit and end-to-end testing while monitoring systems with Grafana and Prometheus.
