What I'm looking for

I'm looking for remote EU opportunities where I can build and maintain secure, practical .NET systems, contribute to Azure and CI/CD delivery, and work with distributed teams on complex business requirements.

I build enterprise platforms at the Malta Financial Services Authority, where "move fast and break things" was never on the table. Much of the job is translation. Analysts and architects hand me regulatory and operational requirements, and I turn those into technical designs and delivery plans that developers can actually work from.

Day to day that means secure .NET applications and REST APIs. The piece I enjoy most is the RabbitMQ-based asynchronous file processing, which pulls long-running jobs out of the request path so a big upload stops being a timeout waiting to happen. I also clear Veracode findings, work on CI/CD pipelines and automated tests, and help get releases into production.

Before MFSA I wrote factory automation tools at Seifert Systems, including wire-cutting optimisation software that ran on the production floor. At MAP IT I delivered C# and .NET Core applications for business clients, and earlier, at FTIAS, I built internal tools and APIs for the finance and admin side of the business.

Outside the day job I work on library-system features at MCAST and build VR and AR teaching prototypes in Unity with OpenXR. I'm Azure certified up to Solutions Architect. Based in Malta, working remotely across the E
