Emily Marcouiller

I’m a Social Work professional currently serving as an Independent Contractor with Vanda Counseling and Psychological Services, bringing practical clinical support to children and families. My work is grounded in the day-to-day realities of providing compassionate, structured care through counseling and psychological services.

Before my current role, I built extensive supervised experience through multiple internships and clinical training placements. I served as a Clinical Trainee Specialist intern in Adolescent Day Treatment at Lighthouse Child and Family Services, and I also completed Generalist Intern work at St. David's Center for Child & Family Development through Family Place.

My foundation includes hands-on experience as a Psychiatric Technician at Fairview Health Services, where I supported therapeutic needs in a mental health setting. I also worked as a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant at St. David's Center for Child & Family Development, strengthening my ability to translate therapeutic goals into real-world engagement and support.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies from St Olaf College. I hold the LGSW certification and continue building toward ongoing clinical growth while focusing on effective, family-centered support.
