At Mount Kenya University Laboratories, I support biomedical research involving antimicrobial analysis, microbiological techniques, and phytochemical investigations. I apply molecular biology techniques such as DNA extraction to support scientific investigations.
I also assist students with research projects, including experimental procedures, sample preparation, and interpretation of laboratory findings. I coordinate practical sessions across clinical chemistry and biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and pharmacognosy.
My research interests include molecular research and the application of bioactive compounds to improve human health. I have participated in research involving the extraction and analysis of plant metabolites and their potential to address health challenges.
As Head of Student Committees for the Health Student Association (MKUHSA), I coordinated health committees and spearheaded mental health awareness campaigns. Iām also pursuing data analysis at Sonek Data School and am interested in connecting science with financial management to support research development and healthcare innovation.
