What I'm looking for

I seek research-focused roles in academic or public-health labs where I can lead molecular diagnostics, mentor students, publish research, and contribute to quality-driven epidemiological studies.

I am a Medical Microbiologist with over a decade of experience in research, laboratory diagnostics, and university-level teaching, currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Microbiology at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology. I have led and contributed to epidemiological studies, processed clinical and environmental samples, and published peer-reviewed work on topics including antimicrobial susceptibility and diagnostic evaluation.

I excel in molecular biology techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis), biostatistics and data analysis (SPSS, advanced Excel), laboratory quality control and academic mentorship. I bring proven skills in course development, student supervision, and collaborative research across institutions including KEMRI and Nagasaki University.
