What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build my career in a laboratory or public health setting where I can apply microbiology, molecular testing, food and water analysis, quality procedures, and biosafety practices while continuing to learn.

I'm building hands-on microbiology laboratory experience through attachments at the National Phytotherapeutics Research Centre and National Public Health Laboratory in Nairobi.

At NPRC, I support microbial safety testing of herbal products and plant extracts, antimicrobial activity assessment, colony counting, documentation, and safe laboratory practice. At NPHL, I supported PCR-based HIV monitoring using Panther and Alinity platforms and analysed water and food samples.

Alongside laboratory work, I've led student and community initiatives at JKUAT, coordinating admissions, projects, outreach, and antimicrobial-resistance awareness activities.
