I'm completing my MSW clinical practice training at Newcomb K-8 Academy, where I co-facilitate wellness presentations on bullying prevention, suicide prevention, consent, sexual harassment, and vaping.
I provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices to address students' social-emotional, academic, and behavioral needs. I also contribute to IEP and SST meetings and created a capstone project on wellness center engagement and students' sense of belonging.
At Orange County United Way, I managed a caseload of more than 40 students, providing individualized case management, resources, and guidance throughout their academic journeys. I also partnered with local schools to expand opportunities that supported student achievement.
My earlier work with Su Casa and La Vista High School’s Teen Parenting Program strengthened my experience supporting children, teen parents, and families through outreach, intake, hotline support, safety planning, and compassionate care. I'm proficient in Spanish.
