At American Tape & Label, I developed and implemented training programs for production employees, including OSHA-based safety training and forklift training and certification. I also created department-specific SOPs and instructional content.
I assess employee training needs through tests, surveys, and consultation with managers, and use employee expertise to improve training materials. I designed materials for trainers and managed team leaders as they distributed training and gathered feedback.
Before becoming Director of Training, I worked across production roles at American Tape & Label, from graphic design and production assistance to operating presses and finishing equipment. I wrote SOPs for several production processes and earned OSHA forklift operator and trainer certifications.
