What I'm looking for

I’m looking to own AWS-based backend and API product development, build microservices with infrastructure-as-code, and lead through code reviews and automation—helping teams deliver reliable, scalable systems.

I’m a Senior Java Backend Engineer with 12+ years of experience designing and delivering microservice architectures across fintech, payments, reinsurance, and enterprise environments. I’m AWS-certified (Solutions Architect Professional, ML Specialty) and I focus on owning the backend stack end-to-end—from database design through REST/gRPC endpoints—so delivery stays reliable and scalable.

In my recent role, I delivered end-to-end solutions for multiple client engagements, building a seat map reservation system with 3 microservices for real-time availability and booking flows. I also implemented authentication and authorization infrastructure using Keycloak and OpenFGA, and I orchestrated fully serverless business processes by building 5 pipelines with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, Redshift Serverless, and EventBridge. I designed and provisioned AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt, while conducting code reviews and monitoring microservice health and throughput.

Earlier, I helped launch B2B API products at Bitso, including the Wallet API product, and led planning and major database rework work at ZING to improve analytics performance. I also authored technical specs and supervised the end-to-end Stripe integration for subscriptions and recurring billing, and built a critical LDAP-based search engine while setting up CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. I bring a pragmatic engineering ethos: clear specifications, automation, and thoughtful ownership from architecture to production.
