At European University Viadrina, I planned and delivered two international delegation visits to Brussels, arranging five to six meetings per visit with European Parliament bodies, EU officials and civil society organisations. I also prepared the groundwork for a third visit scheduled for November 2026.
I managed a combined budget of approximately EUR 5,500, tracked expenses and prepared reimbursement and compliance documentation. All reporting deadlines were met, with no items rejected by the finance office.
I drafted briefing notes and event materials for institutional meetings, and supported research and teaching for Prof. László Andor, former EU Commissioner. My work included background research, course administration and communication with participants.
For my European Studies thesis, I conducted a qualitative study on NGOs and the social integration of queer migrants from Turkey in Berlin, based on 15 semi-structured interviews. I carried out fieldwork with one Berlin-based NGO and was in contact with other organisations working on migration, LGBTQ+ rights and integration.
