Experienced Gender and Inclusion Specialist with a focus on policy engagement.
What I'm looking for
I am a Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist with over 7 years of experience in designing and managing inclusive development projects across Africa. My work has primarily focused on advancing gender-responsive strategies in infrastructure, digital development, health, and livelihoods. I have successfully collaborated with multilateral development banks, bilateral donors, and civil society to promote equality of opportunity and contribute to institutional reforms.
Currently, I serve as a Program Assistant at The World Bank, where I provide programmatic and analytical support to the Digital Development team. I have been instrumental in coordinating stakeholder engagements and developing knowledge products that emphasize gender-responsive digital transformation. My commitment to gender equality is further exemplified by my recent recognition as the winner of the 2024 World Bank Youth Innovation Fund for my initiative aimed at improving women's access to public procurement opportunities.
Throughout my career, I have led various initiatives that integrate gender-responsive strategies into public health programs and infrastructure projects. My ability to conduct gender analyses, develop action plans, and facilitate capacity-building sessions has significantly enhanced service delivery models. I am passionate about creating inclusive environments that empower marginalized communities and foster sustainable development.
