I've expanded Miami Beach Botanical Garden's orchid collection by approximately 1,500 plants and developed Orchid Alley, featuring endangered and non-endangered orchids. I source appropriate species, install epiphytes, lead public workshops, and received a City of Miami Beach grant supporting endangered native orchid populations.

I co-founded and managed Orchidscapes Landscape Design, creating rare orchid and epiphyte installations for high-end South Florida landscapes alongside internationally recognized landscape architects. I developed plant palettes and design concepts while managing client relationships, branding, advertising, business development, and daily operations.

My conservation fieldwork includes habitat restoration at Picayune Strand State Forest, invasive plant treatment, endangered-species work, and locating Eltroplectris calcarata, a previously undocumented endangered orchid species for Collier County. My submitted research explores in-vitro micropropagation and acclimatization of selected Florida native orchids to improve conservation outcomes.

I've also co-owned real estate investment businesses, evaluating properties, renovation potential, budgets, and resale strategy. I bring practical project oversight, negotiation, organization, and a deep knowledge of Florida native, endangered, invasive, and epiphytic plants.
