What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my Serbian language expertise to high-accuracy editing and AI-focused response evaluation. I want work that values linguistic rigor, clear feedback, and digital humanities or localization/translation quality.

I’m a Serbian language, literature, and editorial professional with more than 24 years of experience in proofreading, publishing, librarianship, cultural heritage, and digital collections. I bring a deep command of Serbian grammar, orthography, punctuation, style, terminology, and textual consistency, with an evidence-based approach to improving complex written content.

In my roles at the National Library of Serbia, I proofread and copy-edited a wide range of published materials—correcting linguistic, stylistic, factual, and orthographic errors while preserving the author’s meaning, voice, and intended register. I also consulted with authors and translators and collaborated closely with series editors, technical editors, designers, and other contributors to maintain strong editorial standards.

As Head of the Department for Digital Library Development and Micrography, I coordinated digitization workflows for the Digital National Library of Serbia, proposed standards and procedures for digital preservation and metadata creation, and supervised quality control across digital workflows and web presence. I’ve also worked on protection and documentation of old and rare library materials, including maintaining an electronic registry site for rare and valuable holdings.

Today, I’m particularly well suited to AI language training and evaluation work—covering linguistic annotation, prompt review, response evaluation, and localization or translation quality assessment—alongside digital humanities projects. I’ve earned a Senior Librarian professional title (2014) and contributed as a co-editor to a national library monograph (2021), supported by ongoing training and accredited lectures in cultural heritage practice.
