What I'm looking for

I seek opportunities that allow me to leverage my expertise in gender studies and policing while fostering a collaborative and impactful work environment.

I am Douglas Kwadwo Amoah, a dedicated professional with extensive experience in policing, security, and gender studies. With a background in journalism and over eight years in the Ghanaian media, I have developed a strong understanding of the intersection between media, police security, and civilian protection. My academic credentials include a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana, which has equipped me with the analytical skills necessary for my roles in both education and law enforcement.

Currently, I serve as a Certified Trainer and Facilitator at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, where I teach courses on Migration Management and Gender. Additionally, I am a part-time lecturer at Solid Rock Baptist College and Seminary, focusing on Research Methods. My previous experience includes working as a Civilian Officer with the Ghana Police Service, where I contributed to research and planning initiatives. I have also led significant research projects, such as the Gender Analysis of the Agriculture Sector in Ghana, which demonstrates my commitment to social development and gender equality.
