What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build useful software in a collaborative environment where ideas are welcomed, continuous improvement matters, and I can keep growing in Kotlin, Rust, Android, cloud, and graphics technologies.

I've developed and launched Vlumos, a free secure chat app for Android, including PPK and AES secure chat, GIF support, notifications, group chat, threads, multiple profiles, backup and restore. I also created an open-source, small-footprint server that lets users host their own chat service.

My work spans freelance Android development in Kanagawa and long-term enterprise technology roles at MIP, ACI Worldwide, DNA-IT, Unisys Africa, and client engagements for Eskom and Sun International. I've built and maintained financial systems, redesigned SQL reporting, improved business intelligence productivity by more than 500%, and delivered asset management, support, and reporting applications.

I'm currently restarting Vlumos while studying Rust and WebGPU. I bring experience in data analysis, consulting, business analysis, training, team leadership, design, development, and testing, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving.
