What I'm looking for

I want to join a collaborative, fast-paced team working on cutting-edge robotics and automation. I’m excited to contribute to advanced manufacturing projects and grow my mechanical design and prototyping expertise.

I’m a highly analytical, detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer with hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing and prototyping. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Engineering, building on my strong foundation in additive manufacturing and automated production thinking.

My work centers on CAD design and Design for Manufacturing principles, paired with iterative product development. I bring practical additive manufacturing capabilities across FDM, SLA, and SLS, alongside component design, assembly modeling, and testing to move concepts into real, manufacturable outcomes.

As a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Mechatronics at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, I support faculty teaching and research, assist students with lab work in mechanical design, prototyping, and testing, and contribute to research on advanced manufacturing techniques and additive manufacturing processes. I also maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and prototyping tools to keep projects moving smoothly.

In industry, I’ve trained and delivered results in fast-paced technical environments—monitoring furnace and tower temperatures in raw material production, maintaining conveyor belt systems, operating ball mills with precise parameter settings, and troubleshooting deviations. I’ve also fabricated custom mechanical parts from technical drawings and maintained complex automatic spinning machines, while managing HVAC systems for optimal operating conditions.
