At TELEFÓNICA, I lead Big Data platform architecture and designed the technology strategy for its Big Data and Digital Marketing ecosystem. I also implemented Databricks Data Lab on Azure Cloud to support deep learning model development and execution.
I designed and developed a high-volume query solution for the Legal Department using Snowflake and a custom Node.js front end. I also led the migration of the corporate cognitive platform to Azure Cloud and integrated Generative AI and cognitive services using LLM Gateway and Guardrails patterns.
Previously at TELEFÓNICA, I led Data Governance and aligned its policies and plans with the Chief Data Officer’s strategy and the DAMA methodology. I also led Business Intelligence, growing the active monthly BI user community from 100 to more than 1,000.
At DIRECTV LATIN AMERICA, I developed analytical models across business areas using dimensional modeling in Teradata and implementation in MicroStrategy. Earlier, I developed and implemented CHUBB (EX. ACE GROUP)’s regional LATAM Data Warehouse using Microsoft SSIS and SQL Server 2008.
