What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead research and teaching in polymer electrolytes and nanomaterials, using strong characterization skills and collaborating across disciplines, while continuing to mentor students and publish in journals and books.

I’m a physics researcher and educator focused on polymer electrolytes, nanomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, and natural fibre reinforced polymer composites, with a Ph.D. in Polymer Electrolytes. My work centers on understanding how materials and nanofillers influence ionic conductivity, thermal behavior, and related properties for high-impact energy storage applications.

In my current academic leadership role, I’ve worked as an Associate Professor and HoD at the Physics Department, leading teaching and department responsibilities while supporting a research culture grounded in curiosity and rigor. Previously, I served as a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the Physics Department for fourteen years, strengthening my ability to teach complex physics clearly and mentor students toward independent thinking.

Scientifically, I focus on nanomaterials synthesis and robust characterization, including XRD, impedance analysis, TGA, DSC, SEM, and dielectric properties, translating experimental results into meaningful interpretation. I also contribute to knowledge building through manuscript preparation for journal publication and collaborative research work and publications, including book chapters and peer-reviewed journal outputs.

I’m especially proud of the mentorship side of my career—I’ve acted as a co-guide for post graduate and undergraduate final year student engineering projects. I bring an interdisciplinary mindset, strong active listening, and a collaboration-first approach to every team I work with, because I want my research and teaching to move together.
