What I'm looking for
I am a motivated research chemist with a PhD in Chemistry and postdoctoral experience focused on metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), silsesquioxane-based hybrid materials, and organometallic synthesis. I design, synthesize, and structurally characterize novel porous materials for energy and environmental applications.
My doctoral and postdoctoral work emphasized bifunctional catalysts, site-isolated active sites, and MOF design, producing peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. I have hands-on expertise in air-sensitive synthesis, solvothermal/crystallization methods, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
I have practical experience with electrochemical studies (water splitting, supercapacitors, batteries), materials characterization (FT-IR, BET, TGA, PXRD), and computational DFT correlations to predict structure–property relationships. I also develop MOF-derived nanostructures and hybrid composites for sorption and catalytic applications.
I am an active mentor and instructor, having guided MSc and BSc projects, taught laboratory practicals and online chemistry classes, and contributed to interdisciplinary projects involving graphene, POMs, LDHs, and biodegradable polymers. I seek roles that leverage my synthesis, characterization, and teaching strengths to advance research and translate materials into applications.
