What I'm looking for

I seek a role that fosters growth, values ethical practices, and encourages collaboration.

I hail from a remote East African village, born and raised in an uneducated family. Despite these challenges, my unwavering motivation drove me to educate myself. As a child, I honed my skills by drawing and writing with charcoal on the ground. My daily journey of 7 km to attend primary school and the 90-kilometer trek every other week to reach high school exemplified my determination.

In 2015, I returned to university, working nights to cover tuition and living expenses while attending classes during the day. My resilience paid off—I achieved outstanding academic results, securing a scholarship for a master’s degree in 2020. I proudly completed my degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from the Engineering faculty in summer 2022. My professional journey includes roles as a Data Engineer and Freelance Researcher, where I focus on ethical data practices and preliminary research for start-up projects.
