I am seeking a role that fosters growth, encourages innovation, and values data-driven decision-making.

I am a driven professional with experience in actuarial functions within the life insurance industry, specializing in data analysis, valuation, and reporting. Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Big Data Analytics to enhance my capabilities in providing data-driven insights and solutions for complex challenges. My role as an Assistant Manager at Softlogic Life Insurance PLC has allowed me to develop Python-based models for automating data validation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data used for valuation.

Throughout my career, I have successfully generated cash flows using Prophet, calculated reserves, and analyzed liability movements. I have a strong background in analyzing claims data to identify patterns and high-risk customers, which has been instrumental in optimizing policy pricing. My academic journey includes a BSc (Hons) in Finance and Insurance, where I developed a regression model to predict profitability based on policy characteristics and demographics, presenting my findings at the Third South Asian Actuarial Conference in Colombo.
