What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an Assistant Professor role in Sociology where I can teach advanced sociological theory and research methods, mentor students, and develop curricula—especially in tribal health and institutional welfare—while strengthening my research impact.

I’m a qualified sociologist completing my Ph.D. in Sociology at Andhra University, specializing in Tribal Health and Institutional Welfare Studies. My thesis focuses on awareness of institutional health schemes in tribal areas and the utilization and response of hospitals in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh.

I hold a UGC Junior Research Fellowship (2025) and qualified UGC NET for Assistant Professorship in Sociology in six consecutive years (2020–2025). I’ve also earned top ranks in APRSET 2022 (State 1st) and APRSET 2021 (State 2nd), and I’m committed to translating scholarship into clear, impactful classroom and distance-learning outcomes.

I bring over five years of continuous teaching experience for postgraduate students in both classroom and online platforms, including guest faculty work at Andhra University (Centre for Distance Education) from 2021 to 2026. I design lecture plans and course content, prepare question papers, evaluate student performance, and deliver interactive online sessions via digital platforms (including UpGrad, 2024–2026).

Alongside teaching, I’ve coached civil services aspirants in Sociology (UPSC optional) and General Studies through Karthikeya IAS Academy and Vinex IAS Academy, and I’ve served in prior government administrative experience as Ward Welfare Secretary (GVMC, July 2019–January 2020). I’m energized by research, curriculum development, and mentoring students to apply sociological concepts to real-world social issues.
