I'm completing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at KCA University in Nairobi, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, networking, and software development.
I designed and developed EventMate, a web-based event creation and booking platform with admin, organizer, and participant roles. I used frontend, backend, and database technologies to manage event data and support usability.
Through freelance and home projects, I've installed and configured routers and CCTV systems for home and office environments. I've handled WPA2/WPA3 security, IP addressing, cabling, DVR/NVR configuration, remote viewing, troubleshooting, and a dual-router topology using static IP allocation.
I've also conducted outbound calls to present software systems, understand client concerns, and gather feedback for system improvements. I'm eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment and solve real-world problems through technology.
